Application case 1:
Fine up the block-scale road emission inversion
Application case 2:
Linkage monitoring of NOx, PM, CO and TVOC emissions of road traffic
Using monitoring data from a roadside location in a certain area as an example, this site has repeatedly recorded high concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, NO2, and CO, showing a clear bimodal pattern during morning and evening traffic peak hours. Combining the wind rose diagram with field observations, it can be deduced that the pollution originates from road traffic emissions on the northwestern side. Furthermore, based on the ratio of ΔCO:ΔNOx ≈ 8:1, it is further inferred that the pollution monitored at this site is predominantly from gasoline vehicle emissions.
Road traffic emissions of NOx, PM, CO, and TVOC are major sources of urban air pollution. These pollutants, along with traffic noise, significantly impact urban air quality and resident health. Micro-station monitoring helps quantify vehicle emission intensities and assess their impact, thereby enhancing the supervision of gasoline and diesel vehicle emissions and non-road mobile machinery exhaust emissions, improving road surface quality to reduce fine particulate matter and fugitive dust emissions, and continuously promoting improvements in atmospheric environmental quality.
